Offerings Issue 17 releasedSent: 2008-06-05 08:00:04Hi folks!Well, it's finally here and I hope it was worth the wait! Issue 17 of Offerings magazine is ready for your perusal, and it's a fantastic issue full of interesting articles, reviews, poetry, and rants. We've got an Editorial ranting about enthusiasm in the Pagan community and spoonfeeding; some rather tantalizing pieces about the hidden symbolism of Starbucks and the Charge of the Coffee Goddess by Sarah Fisher; articles on Glamour Magic, concepts of death in Indian thought (nice and macabre for you!) a new regular column called The All-Seeing Eye, and many more articles by Pagan Society members. This issue also contains a written script and complete directions from the Pagan Society's Imbolc ritual, which was well-attended this year and a great success, as well as a write-up of the second Pagan Pub Quiz we held this year so that you can put your brains into gear! You can read the entire magazine here: www.cardiffpagan.co.uk/magazine/issues/17/contents.html And all previous issues can be found here: www.cardiffpagan.co.uk/magazine/issues This will be the last magazine of the academic year. I am, however, now on the lookout for submissions ready for our Fresher's Fayre bonanza issue, which we plan to make into the best issue we've yet had. If you have something for inclusion in that issue, please email it to me at kimhuggens@yahoo.co.uk before the submission deadline of September 1st. Enjoy Issue 17 of Offerings! Blessings, Kim Huggens Editor |
