UKPagan Moot with Talk: The Power of the Word

Hi folks,

On Sunday 2nd March, it's time for the monthly UKPagan pub moot which is held Upstairs (private function room) at the Rummer Tavern on Duke Street, Cardiff, and is organised by members of the UK Pagan forum. It's a great way to have a few drinks and meet local Pagans, and every month there is a short talk by one of the members. The moot starts at 8pm, and the talk starts at around 8:30pm. This month, Simon Lewis is giving a talk on "The Power of the Word".

He will look into the role and effect of language and lingustics in magical ritual, and how to communicate in a magical setting for better results. This talk will Include a brief look at prophesy, prayer, speaking in tongues, magical languages and alphabets, numerology, and correspondences and how they work. Simon Lewis is a practicing Hermetic magician with a keen interest in the structure and practice of ritual, and this will be his first talk for the UKPagan community.

The organizers ask for a £1 fee to cover the cost of room hire, but other than that you'll just need money for a few drinks to whet your lips.
